The 50W seems like a spot on amp for lots of situation!

A bit fuzzy in the lower mids for my liking, difficult to say though without hearing it played by a better player.

Typical guitar player, show him a price of £559, he sees "only £500!"

Was it me or was the intro jam hilariously out of tune?

    The amps sound great though!

    It is a bit, yes.

When you can buy a Jet City 50W head for just under £300.

Not sure about these. Great price, great looks, but the tones in this video didn't do it for me. I'd prefer to see them with the master at full volume but with the gain set much lower.

Sounds good to me, especially for the price. Well done Marshall (for once).

+1 I prefer that Orange tone due to the fuzz of a Marshall, but I was intrigued by this series and I think it's a step in the right direction.

I think they sound ok in this demo but it wouldn't make we want to order one before trying in person. Just can't understand why anyone would.

I guess they are almost cheap enough to take a punt. If you don’t like it you can always return it!

Most times I have demo’d an amp in a shop I can never feel relaxed enough to properly give it a run out.

I reckon they sound better than this demo. The master looks pretty low on the 50.

I don't know why this attracted LOLs, I'd put money on the Jet City being way better made.

I’d struggle to buy anything on the strength of an Anderson’s video tbh, I’m not a fan of eithers playing and I don’t think they particularly flatter anything they demo, whether that’s the sound equipment used or their ability I’m not 100% sure

Yeah I agree. Most of their demo vids sound a bit fizzy or harsh. Lee’s LP through a decent amp should always sound halfway good but it ne never really comes across as such.

In contrast, TPS vids always sound great

I thought they sounded good.  I used to own a few old Marshalls, 69 100w and a 71 100w SL, and some of the sounds in this vid, particularly the Les Paul stuff, sounded "familiar".

Not saying they nailed it, I'd have to try one, but there was definitely something, what used to be called "knock", a warmth I haven't heard in a long time.  I'm interested.

That Jim Royle could never get the hang of tuning his banjo.
