£11k PRS Private Stock nicked from Peach Guitars - should be tough to shift, keep your eyes open...

Absolutely gutted for Peach. Whilst this was brazen, it was bloody stupid. I’m glad that they got caught on CCTV and hope they get put behind bars.

I just saw this on Youtube and my first thought was to get a post up on here, glad that I was beaten to it - shows what a top community we have here.

The guitar is so distinctive it would be silly to try to sell it on now, my guess is they keep it or lay low hefore selling. Fingers crossed it will get recovered and justice gets served.

A shop in Warlingham - about 5 miles from me - also stole an ESP guitar I was selling

With guitars having serial numbers, would it not be worth having a register (if there isn't already) where we record our guitars details. If and when stolen we could change status to 'STOLEN'. Most guitars when sold are sold on well known websites so likelihood would be picked up quickly enough? More to the point it would deter scumbags from stealing!
