Hearing what it can do would be essential for me to be interested. The price is not ridiculous (actually, it's pretty bloody reasonable at £180, excluding taxes, shipping and whatnot), I like the idea of presets and MIDI integration, which would make it ideal to pair up with a fairly small MIDI controller/loop switcher, but it only seems worthwhile if it can do a lot of different sounds well. Otherwise why bother?

Yes, if it's basically MIAB with presets & expn I'll stick with the La Grange, hopefully it can do different sounds or the preset & MINDI would be pretty redundant.
