Gibson Custom Shop Historic 59 Reissue ES-335 in Black
Made in 2009 at Gibson's Nashville plant
Very good condition.

Pickups changed from 57 Classics to Gibson Aged Custom Buckers.

This guitar is a beauty (and quite rare). I always thought it was a keeper... but I'm a Les Paul player at heart and need the funds to make the switch back.
Meticulous build quality. The rosewood on the neck is particularly nice. I really haven't seen many Gibsons that are this flawless.  
Exceptional playability and sounds like a bold 335
Nice clean tones and really great with overdrive/distortion too.
There are a few places with wear to the finish. Nothing major. A small chip to the paint on the neck and a bit of dulling on the bottom right hand side of the back. Please see photographs.

Particularly nice guitars those 2009 Historics and the change to Custom Buckers is a very worthwhile mod. Rare to see them in black. Reasonably priced too. GLWS.

I believe a chap a few pages back was looking for an ebony/black 335, specifically from Chicago Music Exchange's stock, but he may be interested in this! Worth having a look. Beautiful guitar!!

Haha! It's been a bit of a wait but I'm thoroughly on the case - got my eye on a '77 Custom in Tobacco Sunburst!
