Digitising old 4 and 8 track tapes

I haven't done much in the way of recording for years and still have my old Yamaha 4 track and Alesis ADAT machines, plus tapes.  It's probably time to sell both machines!

Before I do that I'd like to get my old multitracks into Reaper, but only have the ability to record two channels at a time with my current USB interface and am very out of touch with what is available now to record more than 2 at a time.

One option is that I've got access to a mixing desk with ADAT optical i/o.  Hence an ADAT <> USB interface would allow me import the Alesis tapes directly and the 4 track tapes via the desk.

Any suggestions for cheap new/used interfaces - either ADAT optical or 4 or more analogue line level channels with ADAT as well?

If your ADAT machines have Toslink connections, then the Audient ID14 is probably your best bet.

Sorry, forgot all about this!  Yes the ADAT uses toslink, optical.  I'll have a look at that Audient.  Thanks.
