Recommendation for affordable (£5 - £15 ) / easily accessible wines?

My tips would be:

Paul Mas Vinus White (France) at £8 a bottle from Morrison's

LA Moneda Malbec Red (Chile) around £6 a bottle from Asda.

Vignobles Roussellet Pinot Noir from Aldi at a bargain £4.49 a bottle... It's really nice especially considering the price!

There are two Italian Primitivos (Reds). One is the Taste-the-price-difference at £8,50. The other is the Palastri (usually at £6,50, but recently on at £5,50). IMO the latter is nicer.

That one keeps coming up. The rest of the year it’s over priced IMO

I get that too.  I learned about this from that app i mentioned.  The Malbec from the same vineyard is good too.

Vino Maipo's Merlot is dirt cheap and very gluggable as well.

Aldi’s ‘grapevine’ red is very good value, I think it’s £3.29p a bottle. It tastes like piss but is excellent for cleaning your classic car engine. Far better than ‘gunk’ and more environmentally friendly.

A few there to add to my list!

I must add a word for Wolf Blass Yellow Label Chardonnay which if you can pick up for £7 is superb value. Lovely smooth creamy oakey white.

    Campo Viejo Gran Reserva Rioja

    £13 minus 25% for 6+ at Sainsburys
    = £9.75

I bought a few cases for about £8 at costco during an offer period last year

    Baron de Ley Rioja Reserva

    usually £12-13 in Waitrose etc
sometimes can be found on offers down to £9.50
Again, costco had it on offer last year

  • For sparklies ,Sainsbury's blanc de noirs champagne is very good.

Waitrose cuvee royale is cheaper  French but not champagne - utterly delicious, dry and biscuity.
