Thanks. I recorded the backing on a yamaha keyboard, push the button & replay, then played my guitar next to it with my tascam field recorder on in the room. I've zero recording knowledge. I've always loved the lick here though from 'the greatest dancer'

Some of those Field recorders can record a mix of mic and DI at the same time?.....which one you using?

Just the onboard mikes ,there's 2. Key board through hifi speakers, guitar through engl screamer roughly balanced for vol and recorded 'live' in room. (it's embarrasingly low tech). In fact i bought the tascam as i didn't have the computer skills to do anything more elaborate. I'm very much plug & play.
