Removing pickup cover logos

I'm really not a fan of logos on pickups. Is there anything better than using something like the Halfords super fine finishing pads for removing them?

The pad printed logo paint can be dissolved off.
You say, atom bomb. I say, tin of corned beef.

    I don't like logos either.

I've had success with isopropyl alcohol (IPA spray) in the past (plus some elbow grease with a cotton cloth)  but have also had ones where it wasn't quite enough and I had to use an abrasive pad. I don't like shiny guitars, or one shiny pickup on an old guitar, so this wasn't a problem.

If it’s printed onto a gloss bobbin (e.g. Seymour Duncan), some T-Cut or similar will polish it off pretty quickly, you’d just have to make sure you polish the whole surface to make sure it all matches.

I got the wilkinson foil logo off some pickups by getting a sharp blade under the foil, then rubbing with something abrasive.
