Anyone a fan of Richard Watson? I just found his channel a few weeks ago and I think his playing is great. He does these Session Heroes videos which are especially good:

Carrying on with this post, and like Tim Pierce, I really like this guy's channel.

Anyway, I found this more recent one on Steve Lukather and it's just as good as his past ones (good sounds, playing and explanation)

Amazing to learn he took massive financial losses to get his foot in the door, just shows the extent of his belief in himself at the time. Well, if he wasn't gonna make it, it'd be tough for a lot of others out there.

I'll be sure to watch the rest of these in time, very entertaining. I was gonna play Guitar tonight, I don't think I'll bother now

been a fanboy for a while tbh - his pedal demos are really interesting and somehow manage to fit some very obscure sounds into a mix that I'd never consider - and he seems like a very decent guy always responsive to YT comments n feedback ..

The session series is really good indeed ..

Thanks! I have seen his Lukather vid, I hope he will do another covering later era Luke.

His solo music is pretty good too, I remeber Richard saying that Robin Fink is one of his favourite players so this direction doesn't surprise me.

Have been really enjoying Richards videos & seems like he has been making them much more regularly. A great player & definitely inspiring to watch, really like that he recommends albums to listen to also.

In his latest video he talks about a Mike Landau (Sunday 16th January) & Dan Huff (Sunday 23rd January) masterclass he is doing over YouTube.
