Doesn’t seem to mention a 3 way toggle switch like the previous models??

You can toggle between high and low gain via the right side footswitch according to the peach website

I prefer the magenta but I'll probably have to get on this regardless. Won't be hard to shift if I don't get on with it!

Yeah but the toggle on the 24v variant allows you to set the pedal almost as if it was running on 9v, so lowering headroom etc. Handy to have so that it’s more flexible

Are there any demos out there that nail this pedal? What I've found so far is a bit hit and miss ;-/

I’ll demo mine for you tomorrow if you want. In any way you see fit. Got a 57 and a nice preamp here. What context do you want to hear it in? Jazzmaster and Guild S100 at my disposal.

Thanks for the offer...just want to see how the low/high options balance, how it can be boosted, etc. Probably not that interested in 'everything on 11' settings ;)

    My preorder is in.

I don't like the look of the dials but it's not the end of the world
The Bigsby was the first successful design of what is now called a whammy bar or tremolo arm, although vibrato is the technically correct term for the musical effect it produces. In standard usage, tremolo is a rapid fluctuation of the volume of a note, while vibrato is a fluctuation in pitch. The origin of this nonstandard usage of the term by electric guitarists is attributed to Leo Fender, who also used the term “vibrato” to refer to what is really a tremolo effect.

The Peach picture is a digital mockup... the dials may actually end up resembling previous editions...

I guessed that was the case but I would have thought the dials would be easy enough to mock up?

Not having used one - I'm not sure I get the popularity of this pedal. As a fan of raspy and fuzzy tones it could well be right up my street but to be honest from the demos I've heard it seems a bit niche for all the universal love it is getting.

    Someone edumacate me please.
My Trade Feedback Thread is here

Been uploading old tracks I recorded ages ago and hopefully some new noodles here.

It doesn’t get universal love, some people just plain don’t like it. It has a unique sound which a lot of people love, but some don’t.

Basically every forum I'm on everyone seems to be going nuts over it. It certainly sounds like something I could find a use for, but I doubt it would form part of a core tone or anything. Not dissing the pedal or anything, but I wondered if people are getting a lot more out of it than youtube has thus far shown.

Edit: Also, I make an absolute mockery of Marmite's marketing slogan. I can take it or leave it.

Here's an out of focus demo for you. Amp was whisper quiet, apartment volume. It's a '68 Deluxe Reverb reissue with an SM57 in front, into a Warm Audio WA12, no other processing. Big Sky for some reverb, little comparison against the Timmy, and some Belle Epoch scattered about.

Guitar is a JM66b Jazzmaster with Jess Loureiro pickups.

Every few months there is a new flavour of the month pedal. I think the broadcast love has stemmed mainly from that pedal show.

I remember everyone going mad for the gunshot, peacekeeper, Timmy, carpe diem, brunneti, Friedman pedal and a bunch of others.
Usually if you wait 3 to 6 months you will see them all flooding the classifieds

@jacklawtey, nice work.  On what voltage are you powering your Broadcast?

I just sold mine at 2, what I paid. Depends on if somebody is willing to pay £30 to skip the wait. One sold on eBay at £170, a single footswitch one. You’d get 2, I reckon. Maybe more if you’re lucky.
