Looking for a dual drive pedal that will give me versatile sounds.

Any recommendations?

Visual Sound VS-XO too - between that and the Angry Driver there aren't many drive tones I can't cover.

My Strymon sunset is pretty versatile tbh. Albeit it maybe up for sale in a few weeks once I've put through its paces my Dinasaural Tube Bender I've just received today :) Sunset is too much of a pedal for my needs really

    Foxrox ZIM.

Lovely filter section, and interchangeable cards for each side so you can have all sorts of different dirt flavours.

  • I keep banging on about the elusive Boss SD-2 Dual Drive, I use it for just about everything I do now. I hardly ever have to tweak it and the 'red' lead channel isn't too bad either it gets you some nice thick tones. You can pick up a used one for about £50-£60

Do I need to be that guy and say KoT?
So far, nothing made me change my mind but I haven't tried many dual OD's.

I'm on the list for the KOT but I won't be going ahead with one. Too much money

Low to medium drive - KoT

Want a bit more hair - the new Wampler Pinnacle Deluxe is much more versatile than you'd think. TS on one side and Plexi and more on the other

Another fan of the SD-2. Its the only drive pedal I have never sold.

Also recently picked up the Angry Driver and it is really great so far!

The VS-XO is also another drive pedal I’ve never let go, but it’s not getting much use atm

I'm also on the list. Actually I got to the top 5 or 6 years ago but I have a KoT clone that I love...

Low to medium drive - KoT

If you need higher gain then I’d look at the Suhr Eclipse or Strymon Sunset.
