Bargain Bass

It's my sister's 30th and so I got her something a little better than the typical DVD and bottle of plonk.

I got her this lovely 50s P Bass by Thomann:

I also got a decent padded gigbag with it too. It saves her pinching my fender to take to lessons!

I have to say it's a freaking awesome bass, easily on par with a good squier. Best bit of it though is I used the vouchers Thomann have been dishing out for reviews and so the bass and gigbag came to around £60 delivered!

Nice work. Bet she's chuffed to bits with that. :-)

But don't bet on that chuffment lasting too long. Soon as she develops some proper skills she'll be on your case again with the old "But yours has a much better tone than mine, the neck's so much better, it's so much easier to play..." etc. ;-)
