I've never owned a offset before... saw this in my local music shop and had to have it...its all original bare the paint...it plays well and sounds like all the old surf records i love!.

The guard is a replacement too by the looks of things. Still, good score - can’t beat a Jag.

I thought so too...might be worth popping the guard off and seeing if there’s any further evidence?

Yup.  

If there is no evidence of a Kahler route in the body I would suspect this body and neck did not start out life together
