Gotoh Floyd GE1996T - will it fit in a Original Floyd Rose Rout?

I like the idea of the Gotoh Floyd bridge since the fine tuners are a little bit 'out of the way' - but I can't find a routing diagram for it.

The only guitars with the Gotoh bridge as stock seem to be made by Suhr - and the average weight seems to be 7lb 10oz.

I need a much lighter one - and would be going with a Warmoth offering.  However Warmoth only offer the original Floyd and Schaller Floyd routs.

So I wonder if the Gotoh Floyd will fit in a OFR rout? I'm aware that the posts are slightly wider in diameter...

Expert opinions most appreciated...

I thought Gotoh made the Ibanez bridges? S series is very light although I don't remember RGs weighing that much last time I played a RG550.

I've been reading about this on the net, apparently a Gotoh unit will fit on OFR posts. If you pull up you might need to extend the rout at the back cos the string clamping screws are longer than an OFR. Or possibly get shorter screws? If you want to use the Gotoh mounting studs you'll need some surgery, the studs and anchors are bigger than the OFR set. Lots of into on forums like Suhr's, who switched away from OFRs to Gotoh Floyds about 10 years ago.
