. . . but I did something even better.
I was pondering the pros and cons of an Electro Faustus Drone Thing when it occurred to me that what I ought to do first is try my Microkorg through my pedals.
After an hour of mucking about I recorded 20 mins of sounds for possible use later, and then the magic happened
I started with the sound that kicks off this track and switched on the Miku.
This is what a MicroKorg through a Miku sounds like when run through my other pedals, something I'm sure you've all been waiting to hear, so wait no longer !

Lucky for me that you didn't
Not that I should be spending money, what with a pedal kit on the way. That's why it was fun to try the MicroKorg out, next I'll have to plug the Tenori-On in
. . . and one more for luck (no Miku this time)
Last year, my nearest Electro-Harmonix dealer stocked a Canyon pedal. It sold within days. Ever since then, I was convinced that I wanted one.
Today, that same dealer had the E-H Canyon back in stock. I could not even be arsed to ask for a go on it. No sale.
I do want to buy a pedal, I'd like to buy lots !
There's at least one more pedal kit I'd like, and even though I've taken quite a few off, I've still got 20 pedals on my wishlist
Next "tune" may well include the Drone Thing I wasn't going to buy, but before that, there's this. . .
