Old Marshall MG channel switch problem

Hello all,

Recently picked up a little Marshall MG15-CD but the channel switch button is temperamental. 

Any advice on fixing? And dangers of opening up the amp?

Spray some contact cleaner into the switch - even if you can't see how to get it in, just squirt some onto it and it should soak in. You will need to undo the chassis though, you won't be able to get enough in past the button to do it from the outside.

Once unplugged from the mains it's completely safe to open it up.
