Got this recently, and like it better than pretty much any other Muff-type I've tried. Only problem is I'm only getting just over unity with the volume maxed, irrespective of the position of the tone and sustain knobs. Any suggestions on how to get some more volume out of it? I've read these use a FET buffer/bypass switching scheme...Could that be the culprit? Or is this just "a thing" with this particular circuit, and I'll have to live with it or look for a suitable mod?
