SOLD - WEM/Watkins Westminster Mk9 (1970s) SOLD
Looking to get £350 £300 250 collected from Birmingham for this, serviced by TLC (aka Branston Amp - Jon is a bit of an expert in old british amps like WEM/Selmer/Kelly) here in Birmingham
Speaker looks like a Fane. When I got it, the amp sounded nasty, buzzy and congested. Following the service, it's clear, articulate and only distorts in a pleasant way when you turn it up LOUD. Tonally, it's got a bit of a Tweed Harvard/Deluxe thing going on with the ~10 watts in a small cabinet.
Original grille cloth and WEM badge, slightly tatty with age but still holding on!
