MI super crunch box v MXR super badass distortion

I have a MI super crunch box, which is great. The only weakness is that I often want to thicken the sound up, so need an EQ pedal with it. Also, I don't really change the gain or compression settings between songs much as it's too fiddly and variable. So....two weaknesses.

I tried an MXR super badass the other day, and loved it. More useable pedal and having the EQ built in is very helpful. I have heard it can be a bit muddy at higher volumes though.

I also wonder whether I'd miss the high gain of the SCB when it's at full tilt.

So, anyone got any views of one over the other? It seems silly to have both, but then that may be where I end up going, because pedals.

I have a SCB and it's great. In itself more versatile in my opinion. The MXR pedals tend to stack ridiculously well together though.
To be fair I've never found the SCB thin sounding.

If it stacks well could you boost the MXR with a TS style pedal for the higher gain stuff? Would help tighten up the low end as well.
