    To be part part of the problem is that I moved house - feck knows where 'convenient' I put them when I did so...

    I agree, although I have since discovered that it doesn't appear to be available to non-iOS users - which is a shame, as it's very good.

    The boss phone tuner was free for a time
    The Bigsby was the first successful design of what is now called a whammy bar or tremolo arm, although vibrato is the technically correct term for the musical effect it produces. In standard usage, tremolo is a rapid fluctuation of the volume of a note, while vibrato is a fluctuation in pitch. The origin of this nonstandard usage of the term by electric guitarists is attributed to Leo Fender, who also used the term “vibrato” to refer to what is really a tremolo effect.

    That actually exists in multiple forms, there is the Intellitouch, the Planet Waves and the... wait for it... Tapo!

    I've got about ten clip on tuners, they were dirt cheap on amazon so i bought loads.

    Some work better than others, the donner ones are good.

    If I need to find mine, then one will be on daughters Uke. And the other one will be on desk/dressing table next to her Uke ! :)

    I have found the key to finding a tuner or capo is to order another from Amazon - within days, the old one reappears
