My latest plaything - The Tabby GTBasically an alder bodied Feline tabby with the extended cutaway on the rear and body comfort contoursNeck is a 3 piece quartersawn maple with some nice flame figuring,12" radius fingerboard with Dunlop 6000 fretwire and an Earvana nut. Neck fixings are via Grainger's threaded inserts in the neck and allen bolts.Inlays are Paua abalone for the front and side markings are OTT size Luminlay (glow in the dark) within a black circle.neck has an oil finish while the painted bits are all nitrocelluloseFab racecar paintwork by @lamf68 Hardware is a Schaller Hannes Bridge (similar to what we have been using on the Blackmachine guitars) and Ratio Tuners.Pickups are Bare Knuckle - Miracle Man humbucker and a Slow hand strat puckup with a steel baseplate at the neckControls are CTS pots , Jensen tone cap and a switchcraft jack in an Electrosocket. Cavities screened with our Nickel screening paint.
The way that custom scratch plate interacts with the control plate and the bridge is soooo trick. That and the forearm relief make for a killer vintage reimagined aesthetic
