  Apparently this is a very special guitar, not sure if that's the seller or the guitar .  It has been lightened and there are no cracks in the neck whatsoever , always a bonus .  Could be a bargain if someone want a  nicely modified 1972 SG ?

  Perhaps  he was concerned about the originality of the vintage parts so took everything off it so it couldn't be accused of being a fake . 

   I don't even know how you could even refer to it as being an SG  unless it's the very rare convertible version .

On the other hand, that vendor is notorious for trying it on with the asking price for just about everything they list on their eBay Shop.

Perhaps, the moderation team could waste an afternoon, merging all of the threads about this abused Gibson SG?

Better still, some hacker genius should devise a way to automatically divert all future mentions of the thing to the electronic equivalent of a dead letter office.

There’s a (butchered, but a little less, errrr...highly modified) UK SG which makes similarly regular appearances. Strangely enough, that never seems to sell either...

Then, there is that bright blue Squier Telecaster, cut down into the shape of a jigsaw puzzle piece. That one must be about due to be rediscovered all over again.
