Tried an Interesting Es Guitar Today

1964 Gibson ES-120,cheapest of the line, basically an entry level semi, with a single Melody Maker neck pickup. 

Very simple but amazing sound and very tempting value. 

Anyone own one? Not seen one before

For what it is worth, Curtis Novak used to offer a direct replacement pickup that was wound to sound like a P90 whilst retaining the original appearance.
