I reckon you'll need a roadie

I was going to ask about kit nearer the time, but as it's coming up, what's the expectation for people to bring?

I was aiming for three guitars (acoustic, LP Studio which is my comfort blanket, and Starfire V for interest) and a stripped down pedal board for the jam bits, but in the recordings just plug'n'go.


There's no reason I can't bring amps, leads, mics etc. but assumed that would be a coals to Newcastle job?

Just logging in to see how this is all going and whether I should be planning a trip to Huddersfield in a few weeks and it appears to be dying a death of disinterest ...


Is there a setlist for Saturday afternoon yet?  Or anything organised for who's playing what in the evening?

I think at the moment we're just waiting on an updated setlest so see what left, as for the evening I think there is a rough acoustic who's doing what but from what I gather it's a see who can do what for the band bit, a few have come forward though

Quite a few people have put their hands up but I think we're waiting for @Bridgehouse to publish the latest status. Then we'll know what's left.

It would be really good to see you @TTony even if you're not regularly around the forum any more.

If it needs someone to give a lift with organisation I'm happy to muck in, but I figured @Bridgehouse and @Legionreturns had it under control and as a newbie with no idea of what the form is I don't want to overstep bounds/get in the way by "helping" unhelpfully

Yes - I have updated the list and will publish today - it’s not changed that much tho and still needs people to volunteer for stuff. Will put the list up and then we need people to get their names down when they can.

Guitar slots are looking good - just a few to fill so get yourself down! Vocals - need a few more. There's a lot of bass slots too *cough* @TTony *cough* and drums needs sorting - @Legionreturns ?

I'll fill a few more bass slots but get in now to get a slot if you want one.

Oh, and please please be specific - it's difficult to do the "I'll fit in where I need to" type requests as I might pick something someone else wants to do and hasn't said - if you want to do more, say so, and don't worry about treading on people's toes. Just get in there
