Sort of a NGD: Anyone know anything about Kiso Suzuki?

This is truly the first guitar I bought. 1991. It's a zero fretted Kiso Suziki with a solid top (very rare for a K Suzuki export item), laminated sides. I believe it's c. 1968/9

I managed to get it back off my Mum who'd been holding onto it for reasons best known to her! TLC needed, and I'll do that.

I count it as a NGD as I haven't really seen it for 20 yearsz

Does anyone know anything about these? They're mighty fine sounding things.

I have a suzuki 0045 copy that i bought new in about 1976. Like your guitar iut has a solid top. It's a very good copy, with a wide neck and slotted headstock - like a genuine Martin 00 size guitar. The backs and sides look solid, but given than they would have been Brazilian rosewood on an original Martin, I doubt they are solid (or indeed  rosewood!). Most important of all, the little guitar sounds beautiful, and it remains the guitar I would never part with. Unfortunately I don't have any photographs of the Suzuki i could post at the moment.
