Have I become a chubby chaser?

I've always been a "Modern C" kind of guy, but recently I bought an ASAT Special with a big fat neck. 

As it's my latest slice of GASage it's been getting all the love. 

Putting my DLS through it's paces I thought I'd get my US Strat out and couldn't get on with the neck at all. 

What's become of me?

Is this a passing phase or have I become bewitched by the chunky necked floozy?

Having played nothing but thicker necks for the last 18 months, I know where you're coming from. Anything remotely slim no longer works for me.

You would probably get used to slimmer necks after a while, like you might have had to get used to the chubbier one.

Once you have had a thick one, nothing else will ever satisfy in the same way again. Your wife/girlfriend should be able to verify this theory.

I have teeny hands and like a thin neck on fender scale (though my jazzmaster is a bit chunky)

On a gibson, bigger is better! I think the same for finishes though (I liked the Justin Hawkins sig...)

I went the other way, and got rid of the LP partly because of the fat neck (partly cos the body-style didn't fit me right, partly cos it only got played 3 times in 3 years). I definitely prefer a slimmer, wider or more modern Fender style neck.
