Pickups: Seymour Duncan JB humbucker in bridge; Oil City "Mighty-Ninety" P90 in neck (original Yamaha Alnico5 humbucker will come with it if you want to swap back - but with the Oil City you really won't!)
Body: Flamed Maple / Nato
Neck: set neck, Nato
Fretboard: Rosewood
Tuners: Grover
Bridge: Yamaha AES Bridge, through-body stringing
Controls: Front Volume, Rear Volume, Master Tone, 3-position Toggle
OHSC
Currently strung with 10s

Has very small chip in the finish on front lower edge + some minor scuffs on the back, otherwise very good condition. Had set up in August at Yamaha London.
Collection within 30 miles of Reading preferred because of hard-shell case, but will ship for £20

I didn't like the way it came from the shop so I had it setup by Andy Gibson in Denmark Street when I had the 9-42s put on. It has never been played out of the house. In fact, if you asked the guitar, it would probably say it had never been played properly in the house, either.

I am tempted, don't wanna buy without trying it though. I'm living in North Wales, are you far from me?

@Owain Depends how close you are to the M6. I live a few miles south of Reading, so probably at least 2.5 hours drive from North Wales.

Is there one near you in a shop that you can try? I realise individual guitars can vary, but at least that would give you a feel for the model. I hope I don't sound like a dick (and I'm sure others will happily point out if I do  ) but for a £185 guitar I'm probably not going to bother driving 50% of the way to North Wales for a meetup and tryout session. If you want to pop down to sunny Wokingham and try it here you are more than welcome, but I think the petrol money would end up adding a fair chunk to the price for you.

Cheap strats pop up constantly in the forum classifieds - so for 'try before you buy' (which is very sensible), you might want to wait until something comes up for sale that is closer to you.

What's the blue mark below the bridge?

@King85 ; It's a streak in the finish - ie. it's under the poly. More grey than blue in real life.

Did you have it repainted or is it a factory fault?

I have one of these in exactly the same colour. Mine also has grey streaks in the vintage blonde finish, I think it's normal. Great guitar for the money too- some might argue almost as good as a CV.
