 I'm on the quest for an amp I can happily use in the bedroom. 

I've got a few nice guitars I can offer up for trade, but I'm also happy to pay cash. 

Alternative suggestions also welcome. I'm coming at this fairly fresh.

The lazy j20 may be too much for a bedroom. I believe Jesse is also building a j10 with 6v6s now.

I'd agree with cbellanga - some of these amps (Morgan AC40, LJ20) can be too loud for quiet bedroom use if your intention is to run them into power stage drive.

The Carr Skylark might be something worth putting on your list, the attenuator in that works very well if you need bedroom quiet volumes.

I have a mint Tone King Skyking US which I would trade for the right guitar, but I’m in the Midlands (can travel). It has Ironman attenuators  on both rhythm and lead channels.

Take a look at these - they work on 9 or 15 watts and have great volumes for home or gig use. They also take pedals incredibly well and my friend's one, Tugwellguitar, is just around the corner from you
