1967 Cherry Gibson SG Junior


For sale is my original 1967 Cherry Gibson SG Junior. Bought from a forum member, but an unexpected bill has arrived hence sale.

Mahogany Body and Neck, with Brazilian Rosewood Fingerboard.

Neck Profile: Deep “C"
Neck Thickness (IN): 1st- .868" 12th- 1.107"
Fingerboard Radius: 12.00
Nut Width: 1.575” or 40.09mm
Neck and Body Details: One piece mahogany body and Mahogany neck with Brazilian Rosewood board. Original 3 on a plate tuners.
Electronics: Original vintage.
Pickup Measurements: Original Soapbar P90 with a beefy 8.57k ohms
Hardware: Original tuners and wrap over bridge. The Vibrola which these came with originally is a period correct reissue, purposely utilising the same holes, so no alterations. So you have the choice of stringing over the Vibrola or simply using the wrap over bridge. The Vibrola arm and string plate simply slide off leaving the base plate attached, so you can swap at will, changing both sound and look.
Beautiful Patina and checking, straight neck, great original frets and fretboard condition. Plays like a dream with tons of resonation. A good honest original 1967 SG Junior. Will come with a decent hard case.
