I played my own wedding.

I got married last weekend. This is my second attempt. I think it's destined to last as my other half insisted I played with my band to enjoy the night more....and I did!

I drafted a good mate to play the first half so I could dance and smoose, and then I joined the second half having one or two 'guest' friends join me on numbers. It was great fun! We even did a rendition of my brides favourite number as an ensemble as an encore - it was like Live Aid without the smelly Irishman! Awesome night that will be my most memorable gig! What a girl for letting me do it - imagine what most Brides would have said!!

    Nice one. I was banned from playing at my wedding, and we booked a band that wasn't just made up of my mates just in case. (Congrats BTW).

    Congratulations and an excellent way to start a marriage.

    Mrs.KK and I played at ours but we kept it to 45mins -  we hired in an additional function band to my own so that we could all relax.
