    sold a couple of MC500's when they came out - Top of the range model of the day complete with 3 band active EQ that was maybe a nice touch for many, but on board active eq never became a requirement for many players - Yet the bass version had its fan club inc Sting

    My unfortunate claim to fame is that I was born behind Ikea car park.

    It's a genuine MC400AV though, 1980 with master tone and shaped neck, original pearloid tuners, alumium case, etc... little bowing on the bridge but seen worse. Everything a collector would want. So, comedy description aside, he's not far off the mark.

    Hope he gets the asking price, but I doubt it. You never know, the AV's can get people interested, as can all black ones.
