Can entries go on Soundcloud instead of Youtube?

Being able to comment on specific points in the music easily could make for some great discussion.

We can probably do both, the purpose of you tube other than being quite handy for uploading details about the comp is mainly to attract new people and get the forum some publicity. So yeah ok I will start a soundcloud account today! People then can view the songs in whichever medium they desire.

Annoying that with soundcloud they only give you 2 hours free upload time, after that you have to pay a monthly subscription.

It says at least 1 minute in length, there is no maximum limit.

No problem, sorry my response was a bit short but I was writing it from my phone and it has this stupi predicitve text that makes it a pain to write messages.

Hmm I have a track I'm finishing at the mo and I'm not sure if it'd really fall under drone or not. It's definitely got drone elements. @Antique_Guitars any chance I could send it to you when I finish it to see if it would count?

Yeah go for it send it over and I can check.

To be honest the rules for this one are so open that I am sure it will be fine, also what some people consider drone is completely different to other peoples view so it is completely subjective anyway.

I recorded a couple of drone layers for a piece today. I have no idea what it's going to turn into.

 If I manage to do one myself it will be very lo fi as I don't really have any decent recording equipment.

I had a go and it turned out a bit of a psychedelic mess.  To many layers I think.  Back to the drawing board....
