FS - 1965 Gibson SG Standard - £3500!
What's Hot
As title - I have to move this on to make for something else - kills me a bit because salesmanship aside the guitar is phenomenal, and would be a very good case for vintage guitars in the eternal (on this forum at least) debate . Plays beautifully and and sounds amazing - also features the only Maestro Vibrola I have ever come across that doesn't go out of tune when you actually try to use it. In players condition, so used but looked after - has dings and wear consistent with a lot of play, and heavy laquer checking.Yes, it's 'mojotastic' to use the parlance of our times - I doubt there is a cooler looking SG around for this price.
It has the following things to note about it, which are all reflected in what I think is a fair price -
Vintage Gibson but not original case
Pickups - Seymour Duncan Antiquities
Back of neck refinished
Neck reset
No headstock breaks/repairs
All electronics original / pots date to 1965
Recent refret
Serial Number 342816
Im asking £3500 or near offer, no trades thankyou very much. Would prefer collection from Leicester for obvious reasons, but willing to work with any potential buyer on different solutions.
Here's some pics (strategically placed cloths used for outdoor shots, btw)

In all seriousness glwts, it's beautiful.
Extra props for Daydream Nation.
I'm currently sat wearing a Sonic Youth t-shirt playing a Lee Ranaldo Jazzmaster and if I look left I can see Daydream Nation and Goo on vinyl and behind those the Dirty deluxe edition cd...
Help me. HELP.
But seriously, it's the internet, why bother getting rattled by it?
