    Have you heard his solo acoustic albums?  They're amazing, especially through headphones.  Just one guitar and the songs are all one takes.

    He's good live. I saw him on many an occasion in the 80s and 90s. Perfect sound, entertaining and fantastic musicianship from him and his band.

    I read an interview with him just after One Quiet Night came out and he said the album was called that because it was recorded in one night.  From what I remember he said most of the songs were recorded in one take.  I hope he makes another acoustic album with his baritone guitar.
