Interested to find a '61 reissue or Standard or even a CS as long as it's a rosewood fretboard and a 43mm (1:11/16") nut .....

    Yes, thanks .... not looking for a vintage though (just amended the '61) a 2013 one could be good when along with the LP's things got a little better, I believe .....

    There is an Angus Young 2000 SG with Lyre on eBay at moment - I was gonna buy it but a fellow member reminded me of tuning issues which was why I sold mine in the first place

    It's hit and miss with a Maestro. A roller bridge can sometimes help and Dan Erlewine has written about dealing with some of its shortcomings.

    Years ago I had a new '67 Flying V with the short version and it was wonderful but It replaced an SG Standard with the full Lyre that was only so-so .....
    Far too old for a V now,  =) and not keen on the 'Angus' cosmetics really .....
