Recommendations for £1000(ish). Something versatile enough for pounding metal and sultry blues....

As the title really.

I like pounding metal (dare I use the term Djent.....

) I also like to roll it back a little sometimes and enjoy some lighter bluesy goodness.

I also like everything in-between. I'll have a grand thereabouts when I'm done and I want the best bang for the buck and versatility that I can get.

Currently guitarless and with little preference to type or brand.

Open to any ideas you can throw my way.

Just about every guitar can do everything you want, as long as everything you want is in your fingers. Don't spend a grand on a guitar unless you are absolutely certain.

If it was me I'd look at the Chapman guitar "Korean" range but also towards the PRS S2 range or a nice condition PRS CE "pre 2008" can be had for around the money your looking for, all of these are extremely versatile and will handle anything you want to throw at them.
