Judging by the corrosion in the control cavity and on the pickguard screws, the Antoria has been languishing in unsuitable storage for years, if not, decades. The strings and their condition seem to confirm this. They remind me of Rotosound Tru Bass.

Oh I know it’s not yours, but you could at least pass my offer on
And yes, some roto flats do have red/orange silks so they could indeed be those.
Bet that would be nice with some zingy rounds on actually
Can not help noticing the similarity of both the guitars and the graphic design style in the Antoria leaflet to their exactly contemporaneous Ibanez posters. e.g. Those over-dressed Les Paul Artisan types and the Rex Bogue-inspired Artist model before it became associated with Bob Weir.
Ibanez / Antoria, same guitars different markets. The Antoria catalogue is cool though eh? The Japanese factories usually took pictures of their catalogue guitars against a white background, sometimes with no name on the headstock so distributors could add their own - James T Coppock [Leeds!] was obviously a bit of a prog fan. Here's how Ibanez presented the Black Eagle Bass:
Wow, thanks for posting the pic @blobb. A bit of detective work with the URL dug out a pic of my Antoria Strat - a 1977 2655ZB, which I'm guessing stands for Zebra Burst as it has a burnt ash body.
“Supposing a tree fell down, Pooh, when we were underneath it?'
'Supposing it didn't,' said Pooh after careful thought.
Piglet was comforted by this.”

Wot? Kill the dull thud? There's hardly any tonal difference between the two pickups. You'd love it.
Oi! I resemble that comment! Yes so I have a number of old P basses with flats on, but that’s not the whole extent of my bass portfolio....!!
Antoria branded version of Ibanez 2609B Black Eagle Bass
Very nice, don't see many around at all.
