I like that a lot, especially with the maple fretboard.

Those Rick's look stunning! They really know how to paint/finish a guitar. Fabulous.

I'm rather fond of blue/purple guitars.

Me too. I did have three blue guitars in 2016, but they've all gone and been replaced by just one:

    And three purple ones:

Funnily enough, I've never owned a green one - but I'd love to have one someday....

It's black, white or subdued colours for me. Some of the darker green guitars on here are nice. I pushed the boat out when I got my wine red Les Paul, as I couldn't find an ebony one.
If we are not ashamed to think it, we should not be ashamed to say it.

Green is great on Strats and Gretches, but not so much on everything else.

    Black.

It's the only colour that looks good on *any* guitar, as well as best on some.

For everything else, there are some guitars it suits and some it doesn't.

I'm afraid I have 4 other sunburst guitars - 60s Strat, 50s two-tone sunburst Tele, an Epiphone Les Paul in cherry sunburst, and a Loar small-bodied acoustic in a J-45 style.

I have a Jem that’s supposed to be blue but is actually a beautiful shade of green - (thanks @vibetronic  )

Also my goldtop is going green!

Love green guitars! Definitely my fav colour. Hopefully my next guitar will be a green sparkle jaguar! Oddly, I’m also having gas for a pink sparkle guitar too.

    Awesome colour
The Bigsby was the first successful design of what is now called a whammy bar or tremolo arm, although vibrato is the technically correct term for the musical effect it produces. In standard usage, tremolo is a rapid fluctuation of the volume of a note, while vibrato is a fluctuation in pitch. The origin of this nonstandard usage of the term by electric guitarists is attributed to Leo Fender, who also used the term “vibrato” to refer to what is really a tremolo effect.

I don't have an overall favorite colour but guitar specific colours.

Tele - Lake Placid, Blonde and Candy Apple.
Strat - Daphne Blue, Surf Green and Sea Foam.
Les Paul - Plain top in Iced Tea or Lemonburst.
Les Paul Custom - Pelham Blue.
Modern stuff - I like Burl and KOA tops.

I particularly like the transparent green of the Hopf Telstar (it's really the only guitar on my 'want' list these days).
