Recommend me some guitar straps!

I left mine at a gig after 4 yrs of regular gigging and being generally very careful with my gear so now need something new.
I play for 3hrs most weekends and rehearse each week so need comfort for regular gigging. I am not spending more than £40-50 - front runner just now is the Mono "The Betty" - it looks really wide tho but certainly comfortable.

Also want something that sits in place and is not slidy - that's really annoying! My guitars are not that heavy, not LP kinds of weight.

Ta!

    I have a Mono Betty.

    I bloody love it and it's used for every gig. Nice and grippy, well padded, very adjustable, and does a cracking job.

    Yes, it's wide and can feel a bit weird at first but once you realise how much difference it makes (I usually say it feels like it drops 2-3 lbs off the apparent weight of a guitar/bass) you don't want to go elsewhere.

    Very highly recommended.

    Thanks @Bridgehouse ;
    I wasn't sure if Short or Long is best as I've never thought much about straps - just had them and used them! I don't wear the guitar that low and I''m 5'11

    Not sure what length mine is - I think it's long as I got it for bass.

    Here it is fitted to one:

    I actually think the strap itself is lighter than a regular nylon or woven style. It's got a little built in pick holder pocket - and the ends are attached by a super solid metal rivet thing which means it's really strong.

    Are you bothered that it shouldn't be leather?  If not, Pine Grove straps are good, from personal experience.

    https://www.pinegroveleather.com/

    Most around £50-60 mark.

    I had a leather strap made exactly to size, so non-adjustable.

    Checked all of these out - hypnotic ones look good for the price - had an Amazon voucher so picked up the Mono one but may look at a nice leather one for my backup guitar too.
