Ant suggestions for a good Blackface pedal

I'm expanding my pedal board and keen to have a pedal that gives a "blackface" tone, problem is that there seems to be very few on the market.  Both the Boss FDR and Wampler 65 are discontinued.
Anyone got any other suggestions?
Anyone use the "Tech 21 Blonde" pedal?
Thank you for any help

If you can afford, Blackbird all the way.

I *love* the Anarchy Audio Gold Class. Setting the tone to zero gives a decent blackface impression to me ears.

Not easy to get in the UK though, but there's usually a few on Reverb from sellers who will ship to the UK.

  • Joyo American Sound. Cheap as chips, and does everything from Blackface to Tweed. I use mine direct into a mixer.

Read good things about it but it’s been discontinued unfortunately

Used my american sound earlier for first time in a while.  I play it through a 5f1 champ, set it to the same sound and then use the drive and eq.  Awesome pedal for stupidly low money, does blackface/tweed with drive brilliantly.

  • I think crazy tube circuits do a blackface style overdrive that could be worth a look? I think it's called Stardust.

Search over.  I've bought a Wampler Euphoria today and although not a Blackface pedal, the tones and quality of it means I will look for another Wampler pedal to stack with it, possibly the Tumnus Deluxe

Depending on what amp you’re using, an alternative route might be to use an eq pedal to give you some of that blackface mid scoop
