NGD: PRS SC58 Artist.

The great Asian guitar buy-up continues.
My shipment of guitars from the UK has been delayed so I've celebrated that pain in the ass with a purchase.

This time it is a PRS SC58 Artist in Black Slate.
This was a steal, especially considering what it cost here originally.
Very few PRS Artist guitars are in Singapore.

Actually it was an adventure.
I put a largeish amount of money in my pocket and then took a cab up to a housing estate near the airport.
I was probably the only white person within a 5 mile radius and that 5 mile radius would have extended into Malaysia.

Anywhere else in the world it would have been scary but this is Singapore and things are incredibly safe.
Someone actually asked me if I was lost- people here are so nice.

Me too- when I get them.
I'm more worried about shipping damage than I am humidity issues- we have aircon running a lot of the time and the room stays about 40% RH.

I have two precious guitars coming via air shipment that arrive probably Monday.
I'm not so worried about them.

The rest of the instruments are coming by sea and will be here end of August.
Everything is insured so it isn't the end of the world if anything happens but I'd much rather they get here in one piece considering they have taken me half a lifetime to obtain.
