Now this looks interesting.

Picks up the tempo of the band and will stretch/shrink the loop (whilst keeping the pitch the same), so you can use a looper in a band situation and not worry about a drummer who keeps loosing time.
Also allows you to slow down/speed up loops for practicing

Id imagine that one of the digtech team have been involved with this; the technology is similar
