Dull boring bass project - don’t bother reading this

What's Hot
Decided I don’t need two PJ basses - and so the relic one is being split up (anyone want a Daphne Blue relic PJ body?)

I need a standard P for gigging - so I’m building one. Asked Graham at @GSPBASSES for a cheapie P body - he had a B spec one that was kicking about and sent it over for a very reasonable sum..

It’s here now but the grain is beautiful.. it won’t be such a throw together after all...!

Thought I’d try a Danish Oil again - different shade this time...

The bench has needed something for a while - but it makes a lovely old rustic photo backdrop now ;) Mrs B hates it for that reason alone! :D

Got any surplus bass necks, Mister?
You say, atom bomb. I say, tin of corned beef.

I’m going to use the neck on this one... sadly. I bet graham has a whole pile in the workshop you could purloin ;)

Nice idea but probably a touch extravagant for a Squier Affinity project.

Get a nice handwound pickup set for it and a piezo bridge with an east Preamp...

    It’s a hefty relic...

I’m using the neck for this one. If you fancy it drop me a PM ;)

    Happily not ;) :)

Isn't Masonite that stuff that used to take Superman's powers away???

Masonite is that stuff which corrupts police powers. ;)

Got a tin of B&Q’s finest Colron Danish Oil.

Dark Mahogany this time. Gonna take a few coats, but it’s certainly different!

Would look interesting with that Schaller aged copper finish hardware.

Hmmm... now if it wasn’t a cheapo Build I may well look into that..

I probably will anyway as my willpower is weak ;)
