do a small 'this is your life' - Find many pics from child hood, family, your time together etc - Put them in an photo album for here - Not expensive but priceless memories - I did it a couple of years ago for wife, then a year or so later for daughter - Far better than a few crap pics on a mobile

Somewhat coincidently, we are just back from a few days at Centreparcs at Longleat.  Had our grandchild with us so no "centreparc" shenanigans allowed.

maybe a little surprise occasion together on the day, no need to be expensive, just well thought through. and then ask her about anything bigger, if you are intending on splashing out.

chosing a big thing depends on whether she is an occasion kind of person or a souvenir person. some people want to go to paris or fly a plane, to mark the day. and some people like a material souvenir they can use or wear to remind them of something special. you wil know.

she may also have had something in mind for ages she would love to treat herself to if she could justify it to herself, but always feels she can't.

at which point you could step in and say, can i treat you to that thing that you always forbid yourself as an extravagance too far?

sometimes the best people of all are the worst people at treating themselves, because they are so habituated to putting everyone else first. parents especially. it becomes second nature.
so she may like it that you appreciate that, which would be implicit in the question.
