    I find this kind of sequencing music with automata/robots fascinating but I would take issue with that Squarepusher quote at the beginning. What I feel this lacks as music is the emotional content from actual human performance. It 'does nothing' for me.

    Contrast it with Pat Metheny's 'Orchestrion' project.

    The addition of just one human performer makes all the difference to me. It engages my attention as music.
