Well, she did go to Leicester University (Poly), would certainly be a surprise if I took her back there. 

De Montfort Leicester used to be a Poly, Leicester University is pretty much a red brick.

He’s just turned 13. He’s been playing classical guitar since he was 9- got to grade 4, and been at a Saturday Rockschool club playing electric guitar for last 3 years (they learn a few songs per term and perform them at an end of term concert). But he gets nervous and never smiles or moves on stage so I’m hoping seeing the rest of us have fun shows him it’s not about being perfect but having fun! He did once sing “Sweet child of mine” at the concert, but that put him off singing... so don’t think I can get him doing that one!

There's a limit on the number of characters in  a post.

The characters are counted in the html format.  Everytime you tag someone in a post, there's about 200 extra (html) characters added to make the tag work.  Hence you think you've only entered 500 characters, but the editor sees a *lot* more.

My daughter would like to come along if that’s okay and if possible sing a song. She is particularly keen on singing who knew but could be a jam rather than recorded. Would that be okay?  She is 13.

Just the set the date.  It'll work for some and won't work for others.  It'll always be that way!

Yeah rockin' - they were a good surprise at the guitar show! 
I figure February is a long wait to meet up so will do both lol.
