*Flails Arms*
Hastily taken photo, so excuse the gratuitous strappery and low-light blur/grain. From left to right, a couple of genuine Fenders (both MIJ, a black 50s and a bound CAR 62 Custom), a pair of partscasters, and a heavily-modded Squier Custom II.
Yeah, I like Teles.
Wow, a Revox!! Drool-worthy in an unashamed nerdy sort of way.
Is that fully working or just eye candy?
I've since swapped the bridge for a Schaller roller, which is much neater. Neck pickup is a Tonerider Rebel 90, and the bridge is an Epi minihum (from a Wilshire, I think). Controls are G&L-style PTB (Vol, Treble, Bass). Blend pot instead of a toggle on upper horn.
To be honest, I need to sort the nut and machines out, as the tuning stability with trem use could be better. It's one of those jobs I keep putting off. Also, the blend pot isn't quite as smooth a transition as I'd hoped, so might swap it out for a 3-way as soon as I can be arsed.
It is tons lighter with that thick Custard-yellow Squier poly finish stripped off, like really noticeably lighter.
As luck would have it, here’s an amazing Thinline that’s for sale right now!

That's a fully operational G36 MkIII, It could do with an overhaul but finding NOS heads is proving difficult, lovely old thing though.

The traded it for a strat but missed the tele and so eventually traded the strat for a roadworn tele:

But decided I don't like light tele's as much as dark teles so swapped that for a strat and built my own:

Will never be without a tele again I don't think.
And YouTube makes anything played on it run fast and sound like a Smurf.
