This is a 2010/2011 65 Princeton reverb. It is in fantastic condition and I must say has an extremely low noise floor and due to the speaker switch does not flub our like most Princetons but stays focussed and sweet sounding for far longer making it ideal for use on stage, in the studio or at home. The stock speaker has been upgraded to a Weber 10F150T which is pretty much accepted as the best 10" speaker to upgrade Princeton's with. From research you cant currently get hold of these speakers within the UK and would cost in the region of £125 plus shipping form Europe or probably more from the states.

£750 - Collection from Holmbury St Mary in Surrey which is near to Dorking.

The following is from t'internet re Weber upgrade:
The favorite for Princeton Reverb:    For mid 60's amps using ceramic 10's where a bright, articulate tone is desired. Replaces Chicago Jensen C10Q, Oxford ceramic 10, CTS ceramic 10. Weber’s most popular replacement for Princetons and Princeton Reverbs.

Reviews of The Weber 10F150T:

 PURE BLISS

My Princeton AA1164 build took me over a year, the research on speaker types was huge. I AM EXTREMELY HAPPY WITH THIS SPEAKER! The volume is huge with 6V6STR biased at 12 watts.I’m glad I stuck with a 10 inch, the bottom end is massive, no need for making a 12 inch fit. Thank you you guys at Weber, you rock!

WEBER 10F150T SPEAKER
After reading the descriptions of the various vintage series 10 inch speakers, I went with Mr. Weber's recommendation that this was his favourite speaker for a Princeton. I acquired an original 66 BF Princeton Reverb and I didn't want to risk blowing out the original Jensen. The Weber speaker is a very big improvement!!! I like deep Fender cleans with thunderous reverb and I cannot believe the huge sound that now comes out of such a low wattage amp. I bought the speaker in early 2009 and it's not going anywhere. I just acquired 90's era Fender Custom Vibrolux and I'm thinking I may go with this speaker again. Thanks Weber folks!!
THIS IS A KEEPER!

I have a 1963 brown Princeton that I have had for years. I have tried many speakers in it. Some sounded better than others, but I always felt that none were quite right. Now I've known for some time that this speaker is all the rage for Princeton Reverbs. The brown Princeton has a very different circuit, so I figured this speaker would be not quite right as well. I ordered the 25 watt version with no dope, and fortunately I was wrong. This speaker brought the amp to life! The amp now has the tone and response I always thought it should have. It went from being just a cool old amp, to a "to die for" sounding old amp.

THE ONE

Running in a 68 Custom Silver face Princeton Reverb. I have been playing through this speaker for 5 hours with my custom stratocaster, Fralin Vintage Hots. This is the speaker for this amp as the description states. Adds much more volume, tighter low end. Adds a much better balance from E to E. Does not flub out at higher volume like the stock speaker for which we will not name! Stays together when pushed and gives a smooth breakup. Even the reverb sounds better which I did not expect from a speaker change. Thank you Weber for impressing me for the third time. Exceptional speakers in a class all their own.
