Tele body with TV Jones Classic and Tele bridge pickup.

A few little bits from a guitar that gave it's neck and Bigsby to other projects.

The body is from a Squier I believe, its a bit rough, it's very heavy, covered in thick black poly and is drilled/routed as a Cabronita with a Bigsby. The most interesting and valuable part of it is most likely the TVJ Classic that's been stuck down into the neck pickup pocket. £60

From the same guitar is a bridge pickup. Looks like a pickup and has a CS sticker on the back. That's as much as I know about it other than it was rocky, gritty and snappy in the guitar and was a great match for the Filter. £40

I bought the body any pickup from Darren - a pleasure to deal with him. Highly recommend!

And... got the pickup out. Some kind of super-tough amber resin in there moulded all around it. Cut a truss notch in the body then scored all around the edge of pickup with a razor blade to loosen the seal. Popped out with a bit (well quite a lot) of persuasion. It's an English mount TV Jones which has had the ears snipped off as far as I can see. Perhaps I'll replace the mounting plate in due time. Thanks again Darren!
