The guitar is fantastic though and a keeper for sure so selling off other Les Pauls now

Try pulling tone back to three and volume to 7ish...should smooth it out quite a bit without losing the articulation

I don’t think the GG photos really sell the guitars that well. That R8 looks amazing in the bottom photo and a bit rubbish in the top one.

GG seem to like to overexpose most of their images by a stop or so.  Either that or they have no idea how to use a flash meter.

Thanks, yes the GG photos do undersell them. You have to use your imagination a bit when deciding. I took this with my phone

Ha! not enough for the R9 and an R8 that's for sure. I'd prefer an R8 though.

A cherry popped up at GG earlier but I see it's gone already, plus one of Coda's has gone too.  I think the very plain one at Coda is the last R8 knocking about on this deal until Peach get their three.

It would be interesting to know if the GG guitars that keep appearing are new stock or returns...
